East Ayrshire Council operates an in-house garage facility for the inspection, maintenance and repair of its fleet of approximately 450 vehicles, plant and ancillary equipment, including MOTs for class 4, 5 and 7.To support the delivery of vehicle/plant maintenance services, East Ayrshire Council is seeking to appoint service providers within a framework agreement with the appropriate experience of vehicle/plant inspections, servicing and maintenance/ repair services. This will include the provision of maintenance services for the Ayrshire Roads Alliance, which works across East and South Ayrshire Councils.Bidders should note that the framework is in place to support the current in-house provision and therefore services shall be required on an ad-hoc basis. Any indicative quantities or figures provided in the tender documentation are for evaluation purposes only. As such there is no guarantee of any business, use, level of use or continuity of business throughout the framework duration.The framework is for a period of 1 year with the option to extend for up to a further 3 years at the sole discretion of the council.
