West Sussex County Council (WSCC) is seeking a Service Provider to deliver an integrated Adult Community Learning Service (ACL Service) for the county of West Sussex from 1.9.2017.The Service Provider will be required to deliver courses on behalf of WSCC in accordance with the Skills Funding Agency and Education Funding Agency's agendas, but currently covering the following areas:— Adult Skills (SFA); This is provision to deliver on the government's agenda to support those with low English and Maths skills and those needing additional skills and qualifications to enhance employability.— Community Learning (SFA) is funding to:– Maximise access to community learning for adults, bringing new opportunities and improving lives, whatever people's circumstances;– Promote social renewal by bringing local communities together to experience the joy of learning and the pride that comes with achievement;– Maximise the impact of community learning on the social and economic well-being of individuals, families and communities.
