Descriptions
Swindon Borough Council invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of Adult Community Learning to deliver courses that will achieve the strategic priorities of the SBC Adult Community Learning Plan 2017-20. The commission is divided into 7 Lots comprising of three Lot ranges: Lot 1 to 3 Getting Started: short non accredited courses to engage learners. Lot 4 to 6 Getting Ready: longer non accredited courses to build resilience, punctuality, and attendance (work skills) and Lot 7 Moving On: more formal longer accredited courses in preparation for work, eg. accredited Technical skills, English, maths. The contract(s) will be initially for a period of 12 months commencing 1.8.2017 with options to extend for a further two options of 12 months, (a maximum total of 36 months) subject to satisfactory contact performance and continued grant funding.
