Descriptions

To provide independent advocacy services for people experiencing problems with their mental health and wellbeing from age 18 to 65, including mental illness or personality disorder (as defined in the Mental Health (Care and Treatment) (Scotland) Act 2003. This will involve providing advocacy support around a wide range of issues that can affect a person's life enabling people to have a stronger voice and gain as much control over their lives as possible. The provision can be done separately (i.e. individual advocacy) or in a group (i.e. Collective Advocacy).
