This contract is for a series of works in Nairobi and Nanyuki to maintain and improve the water treatment and distribution systems at Key locations. Estimated value excluding VAT: KSH 11,000,000 - KSH 16,000,000 Envisaged minimum number: 3 and maximum number: 4 Objective Criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: Invitations to tender will be sent on the highest scoring companies following evaluation of information submitted against questions below. Questions: a) Provide full company name, registered office address, primary contact details and full name of all directors. b) Provide overall company structure, including names and qualifications of key employees c) Demonstrate how you will satisfy Local working regulations, specifically working Visas. d) Provide details of any sub-contractors (including contact details) regularly used for specialist work such as mechanical, electrical or design work, and give an outline of tasks previously worked on together. e) Provide outline financial details of the previous 2 trading years f) Submit current company insurance certificates g) Provide examples of similar previous projects including description of overall project and your areas of works, point of contact name and telephone number of clients. h) Provide a statement of your understanding of our requirement as the MOD to work to UK regulations on our estate, and give examples of technical and safety regulations you would expect to be working with. i)Provide a schematic of a water treatment system for water direct from the borehole into delivery method from the tanks. Quality of water is unknown and water at delivery is to be as close to potable as required. All items proposed should be accompanied by trade literature, prices and proposed supplier. They must also be available in country, and not be overly complex to maintain or have a high initial cost or high cost of consumables. Returns to be delivered in hard copy to the WCO on the address above, or left in the tender box at GE Dept office, Kifaru Camp, Kahawa Barracks, Nairobi.
