The Africa Europe Development Platform wishes to re-brand and re-design as well as improve on its website's functionality (www.ae-platform.org)The organisation has recently undergone some new changes and restructuring and requires its forward (audience) facing element of its communications section to reflect thus.We are hoping to achieve an innovative 21st century website that is at the fore of our competitors.AEDP wishes to radically change the way the website is structured while also improving its usability and functionality. The completed development will deliver a website which will:¿ Create audience focused information architecture and website navigation, the website will change from an ‘inside out' to an ‘outside in' view of the AEDP;¿ Design a new user interface focused on audience categories and functions, with branding consistent with AEDP products and branding in other media;¿ Develop website content definitions, and production and contribution work-flows, to enable AEDP constituent teams to engage more fully with the website;¿ Enable better technical and informational relationships with current AEDP resources e.g. CRM and 'Self-Service', so that users may be better supported on-line;¿ Ensure that all public website interfaces and functionality are compliant with current legislation and good practice;¿ Record and monitor KPIs;¿ Review, re-author and develop new content, including jettisoning and changing the current content;¿ Encourage AEDP content authors to adopt a 180 degree shift in their approach to writing for the website;¿ Resolve current system performance issues, i.e. provides significant improvement in system performance;¿ Provide a vibrant interface with an increased usage for online event booking which encourages audience contact.
