The contract is for a special needs and disability (SEND) bus transport service to help the contracting authority to ensure that it meets its statutory duty to provide travel support to vulnerable children and young people.The appointed SEND bus transport provider will provide the contracting authority with buses, drivers and temporary cover and/or replacement passenger assistants (PAs) to accompany vulnerable children and young people on their journeys.
