Monmouthshire County Council, acting as Lead Body on behalf of Adventa + partnership, are seeking tenders for the production a database of local ambassadors to offer peer to peer support to local farmers and to prepare, manage and deliver the administration of the following grant schemes. 1. Provision of capital investment for upgrading existing facilities and provision of new e.g. tea rooms for walkers, toilets for farm visits, disabled ramps, etc. 2. Capital and revenue Investment support for renewable energy to include provision for feasibility studies for hydro, wind, biomass, bio digestion, wood fuels, etc. 3. Eco Tourism Revenue grants to support promotional activities for investments under the project’s capital investment programme for encouragement of alternative accommodation on farm e.g. yurts, forest shelters, linking to renewable energy activity.This project is one of a series of projects supported under Axis 3 of the Rural Development Plan and forms part of Business Plan 2 for the period March 2011 to December 2013.
