Air Quality Database for Wales Phase 6

The aim of the project is to incorporate a substantial amount of monitoring data from sites across Wales into a robustly managed and updatable database that can be easily interrogated. The project also aims to ensure data incorporated is of the highest possible quality. To achieve this quality assurance/ quality control site audits for a selected number of monitoring sites and formal ratification of data from the majority of automatic monitoring sites in Wales will be provided under the project. In addition the project aims to provide air quality information and advice, a data download facility, and data upload facility via the Welsh Air Quality Forum website.Information, support and analytical services provided under this project will be vital to the Welsh Assembly Government local authorities, the Welsh Air Quality Forum and wider stakeholders in effectively managing air quality in Wales.
