Tenders are invited for Air Quality Reporting and Data Management Services for Caerphilly County Borough Council. The commissioned bidder will be expected to work in close collaboration with staff and representatives of the Councils Public Protection team.The Council has a statutory duty under Part IV of the Environment Act 1995 to regularly review and assess air quality within their areas and to determine whether or not the air quality objectives are likely to be achieved. In fulfilment of the Council’s statutory duties, Caerphilly County Borough Council currently operates five (5) continuous air quality monitoring stations throughout the Borough, this is soon to increase to six (6).The current sites that require data ratification are Nantgarw Road, Caerphilly and Fochriw air quality stations. A site at Islwyn Road in Wattsville is also due to become active shortly.
