Descriptions
Calls for tender are welcome to supply a test-bed with 4quadrant loading capability for testing and characterising high speed starter-generator systems. The test system will be rated to a minimum of 150kW which will need to deliver over a number of operating points. A single/dual output gearbox is expected to be employed to cover the entire torque-speed loading requirements as will be specified underneath. The supply of an oil-based cooling system for the test article is also within the scope of this tender and is also specified underneath.
