Rhondda-Cynon-Taf are the lead Authority acting on behalf on the Children’s Commissioning Consortium Cymru (known as the 4C’s).The 4Cs are a Welsh Regional Team working to support Local Authority Children’s Social Services Departments to commission and contract placements for Children Looked After. All 22 Welsh Local Authorities are committed to use a new Flexible Framework.We are keen to expand and reshape the current residential care for looked after children available in Wales, ensuring that we have homes available that will meet the sufficiency needs of Local Authority commissioners and more importantly, meet the needs of and improve outcomes for, our children and young people.In order to consider our options we are consulting our stakeholders on various aspects of the procurement process, specification and terms and conditions of contract.If you are a provider of Residential Care Services we would like to hear from you and for you to be involved in the consultation process.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=83971.
