Descriptions
The school are inviting experienced school transport services contractors to tender for the home to school transport for full time students attending the Altwood CofE School from communities in the catchment area.The contract will initially be for a 3 year period commencing the 1.9.2014. The School will retain the right to award extensions to this contact which will consist of 2, 12 month periods thus resulting in a maximum contract term of 5 years. Extensions will be awarded at the School discretion.The procurement exercise will seek to leverage value for money, best practice and innovation by carrying out a full tendering process using the ‘Open Procedure' as described in The Public Contracts Regulations (2006), thereby ensuring compliance with European law.
