A new bodyshop is required to assemble an SUV in St. Athan Wales. This will be a “turnkey solution” to include; equipment to assemble a bonded underframe, a curing oven, framing stations for a number of bonded BiW panels & a closure fit line. This system must cycle at a 30 minute TAKT.-AML requires the facility to be capable of building a multi model sequence and NOT be constrained to batch building.The vendor must demonstrate an experience in delivering, but not limited to:•Turnkey assembly lines of a similar size & nature•Automated assembly fixtures•Integration of 10+ robotic cells•Integration of adhesive application cells•Large scale adhesive curing systems•Large scale controls projects•Conveyor systems•Large scale product handling equipment-It is estimated that the installation will be over a 12 month period between July 2017 and July 2018NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=64715.
