Creative and Cultural skills is the sector skills council representing crafts, cultural heritage, design, music, performing, literary and visual arts. We are seeking to commission professional evaluation services for its Creative Apprenticeship programme in Wales, piloted through the Sector Priority Fund Pilot programme.The project has established 4 regional hubs of Creative Apprenticeship activity across 5 creative industry pathways (Cultural Heritage, Community Arts, Technical Theatre, Live Events and Promotions, Costume and Wardrobe) over 2 years.The Creative Apprenticeship equips people with knowledge, skills and awareness via on the job training, which employers often cite is missing from new entrants. This offers a structured vocational route into employment.The evaluation aims to establish the success of the Creative Apprenticeships project in terms of delivery and sustainability, across Wales in the 5 different pathways. Expected outcomes from the evaluation include an interim report detailing research activities undertaken and initial findings, a detailed final evaluation , an impact analysis indicating educational, economic, financial and social return on investment and a feasibility studyContract to be signed an returned with services commencing before 1st July, 2011Interim report to be submitted by 31st August 2011Final evaluation, Impact analysis, feasibility study to be submitted by 30th November
