The AN2 project supports employers to examine and develop their organisational culture to achieve a more inclusive working environment, which harnesses the skills and abilities of all the talent available to them. To increase our knowledge in this area, Chwarae Teg would like to commission research into men’s perception of gender equality in the Welsh workplace. The work will investigate men’s understanding of, and attitudes towards gender equality in the workplace, and explore workplace culture from their perspectives. The research will focus on three of the nine priority sectors in the Welsh business environment in which women are under-represented in the workforce and at managerial level: Construction, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), and Energy and Environment. Any differences between large employers and SMEs should be explored.
