The College of Engineering at Swansea University has been awarded funding for an ERDF operation titled “IMPACT”. IMPACT is an eight year, £35 million operation under the ERDF Investment Priority 1. IMPACT will deliver a Centre of Excellence in the form of a Research Institute, which will be capable of initiating and driving significant additional sustainable world‐leading research and the creation of world‐leading academic jobs and economic growth through its strategic operation and collaboration with global, regional and local industry stakeholders and world‐class academic partners.
