Descriptions
The pathology laboratories have 3 immunoassay analysers that require replacement. This creates an opportunity to review the immunoassay strategy for the laboratories. Currently, there is a mainline biochemistry platform that is not to be replaced, a secondary biochemistry platform that is to be replaced, and primary and secondary virology platforms that are both to be replaced.The intention is to procure a suite of analysers that:— accommodate most or all of the existing repertoire,— allow greater flexibility with the use of instrumentation across laboratory disciplinary boundaries,— potentially facilitate repatriation of referred tests,— deliver operational efficiencies, and— deliver cost savings.
