Research laboratory services. DSTL have a requirement to gain information on the structure of the lipopolysaccharide of C. burnetii and access to a synthetic antigen that could potentially be used as vaccine antigens. The structure of the lipopolysaccharide is not well documented and on completion of the contract, it is expected that additional information on the structure will be available as well as the generation of potential vaccine candidates.
