Conservation Architect with established track record required to work as design lead with a full professional team upon the restoration of the Grade II Ancoats Dispensary formally know as the Ardwick and Ancoats Hospital.Contract to be let in two parts:Stage 1 Physical safeguarding works to stabilise the building whilst design development is undertaken. Design Development to RIBA Stage D. Timeframe anticipated Sept 2014 - Dec 2015Stage 2 contract delivery on site. Commencing circa March 2017 subject to funding.Proposed space includes basement for plant and store, first floor for cafe and community uses, 2 and 3rd floors for artisan workspace and a small interpretation centre in the restored tower on the fourth floor. Total building area circa 1 485 m2
