The Awarding Authority wishes to undertake the following works:New Engineering Research Facility incorporating research space, teaching, computing/engineering laboratory facilities, office and social space.The project will be procured by means of a two stage design, manage, construct form of contract.The new building will be in the region of 6 000 m2 gross floor area and may be constructed in 2 or 3 phasesThe Awarding Authority may wish to novate the architect to a main contractor at Stage D.
