Tai Ceredigion is a housing association with some 2,300 housing units mainly in Ceredigion, West Wales. Tai Ceredigion purchased Canolfan Dulais in April 2018 to safeguard the continuing presence of a number of local charities that operate from the building and provide much needed practical help and support for a number of local young families. Many of the people using these services are tenants of Tai Ceredigion living on nearby estates. The building also provides a base for a number of SME businesses that support the local rural economy of Lampeter and the area.The existing single storey building is spread over two wings and has come to the end of its useful life. It is not financially viable to refurbish the existing fabric of the building, therefore demolition and re-build is the option being pursued by Tai Ceredigion.
