Approved Provider List for the Provision of Bikeability Training for Schools
Descriptions
The Department for Transport (DfT) funds Bikeability cycle training for schools. The Bikeability Trust distributes this funding across England to local authorities. Bikeability is today's cycle training programme. It's about gaining practical skills and understanding how to cycle on today's roads. Bikeability training comes in a variety of modules which help provide skills and confidence in cycling. In order to support the delivery of cycle training within the county Buckinghamshire Council (BC) is seeking Cycle Training Providers to deliver the training modules associated with any DfT funding grant BC should receive. The approved provider list is being established under the Public Contract Regulation 2015 Light Touch Regime (LTR). Please note that any contracts awarded under this agreement from 1st April 2025 will be subject to the availability of funding received from the DfT. The approved list will be based upon set geographical areas covering the various training modules available. The approved list will be in place from 1st April 2025 to 31st March 2028. All applications must be returned via the Buckinghamshire Business Portal. The tender return date is midday on Friday 24th January 2025. . Applications received after this time and date will not be accepted.
