Lot 2: ASC Area 12The successful Contractor will be required to provide integrated network management, maintenance, improvement activities, incident management, event management and contingency planning on all purpose trunk roads and motorways in Highways England Area 12 in accordance with Highways England standards and objectives.Duties include:All routine and cyclic road and bridge maintenance works, including winter maintenance and capital schemes, (but excluding S278 works unless instructed), which will have an upper value limit of between 4 000 000 and 8 000 000 GBP.The final contract documentation will confirm the limit.Co-location with, facilities for the management of the Highways Agency Regional Technology Maintenance Contract (RTMC North East) for Areas 12 and 14, M1-A1 link road DBFO & A19 DBFO.May include: DBFO routes A69 and Darrington to DishforthDuties may also include the following:Provision of planning advice, design, co-ordination and management of maintenance and improvement schemes (unlimited by value).Supporting functions in relation to Highways England's DBFO routes for Areas 12 and 14, M1-A1 link road DBFO & A19 DBFO, Darrington to Dishforth DBFO and A69 DBFO from A1 to the Cumbria boundary where instructed.
