In order to meet its legal responsibilities under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, Newport City Homes wishes to procure the services of a specialist contractor to assist in the management and control of asbestos within organisation properties.The Contractor is required to provide Management and Refurbishment and Demolition asbestos surveys, 4-stage clearance testing and other asbestos management services to Newport City Homes properties.Services shall include but not be limited to the following:-• Surveying• Provision of survey reports• Monitoring and associated record keeping• Clearance testing• Reactive testing as required• Provision of estimates for any required asbestos removals or encapsulation• Inputting asbestos reports, plans and data into Newport City Homes property database (RAMIS)NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=56808.
