The National ASD Development Team is supporting local authority and health boards to develop and coordinate their new Integrated Autism Services. The service will not provide support for autistic individuals with moderate to severe mental health needs. The service will however have a function in supporting mental health and social care staff to work with autistic individuals. As a basis for this, the National ASD Development Team have worked with South Wales Integrated Autism Service staff to develop a one day training programme focussing on understanding autism and adapting practice.The objective of this piece of work is to train up to 850 members of staff across 4 health board regions using the ASDinfoWales Mental Health Training Programme.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at http://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=75900.The buyer has indicated that it will accept electronic responses to this notice via the Postbox facility.
