Provision of social care services within 4 new supported living schemes (known as "Younger Adults Extra Care" schemes) across Hampshire, specifically in Aldershot, Basingstoke, Chineham and New Milton.The services will support people with a range of learning disabilities and additional complex social care needs, including physical disabilities and needs associated with autistic spectrum disorder. The services have been procured through a mini-competition procurement exercise, the services for each scheme tendered as a single contract lot, contracts being call-off contracts from a framework, specifically the Hampshire shared living and Learning disability support framework. For each of the four lots the initial contract term will be 3 years, with scope at the Council’s discretion for 2 additional extension periods each of up to 2 years. Organisations were able to bid for as many of the 4 lots as they wished, but could only be awarded a maximum of one contract.
