Ashlyns School is a large, successful secondary school in Berkhamsted with 1,500 pupils from Year 7 to Sixth Form. The school has two adjacent wooden panelled restaurants and serving counters which are very busy over service times. There is a separate sixth form cafe with a modern, high-street style counter and barista coffee service along with a separate seating area. There is a large outdoor covered seating area and the school has a lot of outdoor space available. The school is situated in a stunning 18th Century Foundling Hospital and the school has been used as a set location for many films including The Crown and Golda. With a busy service running in term time the school has a growing, year-round venue hire, sports hire, events and Lets department. The Lettings and Events Office will need specific support from the successful bidder in delivering high quality catering for these events.
