A range of audio equipment, is required to support a high volume and diversity of events. The equipment will be used primarily in a single large room in Iveagh House, but portability of equipment is a factor both for storage purposes and to support events in smaller rooms in the same building, as needed. The precise audio set-up required differs from event to event, so that an adaptable, easy-to-use and multi-purpose audio suite is needed. The dimensions of the Ballroom are 18.26 metres X 8.93 metres and the ceiling heights are 8.55 metres and 10.36 metres at the dome in the centre of the room.
