To deliver audio production training using a youth work methodology approach and time allowed for mentoring of young people throughout the programme is essential.Training Outline/ Content:Within the catchment area of Offaly, 3 separate groups of learners must be identified and engaged in 2 individual 2 day workshops. For each workshop delivered each group will require 14 hours tuition plus additional hours for mentoring (minimum 1 hour per learner engaged on the programme)The training should cover the following areas:1.The use of industry standard equipment2.The requirements and skills involved in the production of audio for the new digital media3.The production of a completed audio/media project from conception to completion4.Must highlight the importance of trends in technology and it’s impacts on the modern workforce•Training should be quality assured•Young people should be made aware of progression routes available to them.•Young people should meet milestones throughout the training in order to demonstrate learning.
