North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) for and on behalf of NHS Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are undertaking a procurement via the Any Qualified Provider (AQP) route for Audiology (Adult Hearing) Services for Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. This Any Qualified Provider (AQP) opportunity is a NHS Health and Social Care contract, the opportunity is being advertised on Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU) also to ensure transparency. This AQP for Audiology (Adult Hearing) Services is being commissioned by North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) Unit for and on behalf of NHS Sunderland Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). The service is being commissioned in line with national guidance and local requirements. The providers need to deliver high quality, efficient services which are responsive to the needs of the local communities. The service will be commissioned using the AQP process. In securing services under the AQP process, assurance of competence, quality and safety standards is required. Providers will be eligible to join the qualified provider list subject to demonstrating competency against specified criteria. Qualified providers will be expected to deliver the service under the NHS Standard Contract. As a qualified provider there are no levels of guaranteed activity. Payment is made based on actual provision and outcomes.
