Údarás na Gaeltachta invites tenders for refit of its boardroom at Na Forbacha, Co. na Gaillimhe in order to modernise the room with a high quality solution and high quality equipment with the option of adding video conferencing services.The room (9.795m x 9.795m) can currently cater for approximately 30 people when set in a circular layout. There are 2 projectors with drop down screens, all cabling is routed back to an A/V rack in a communications room. At both ends of the room there are floor plates with the relevant connections. A PC is in situ for presentations etc. There is a handheld remote for the control of room functions.For audio, there is an audio controller present in the communications rooms, taking a feed from the floor plates and a supply through the 4 built-in speakers on the ceiling.Our preference is to replace the current projection setup with large Ultra HD 4K LED smart screens noting that it is a requirement to be able to display different content on separate screens. Submissions should show the proposed layout of equipment based on the drawing provided and should also include a detailed description of all proposed equipment along with an implementation plan.A remote handheld controller or wall mounted controller is a requirement for room functions with the possibility of transferring some current room functions (e.g. motorised blinds & lights) to the new equipment.
