Aberystwyth University has a number of projects funded by the European Commission both directly from the Commission and indirectly through the Wales European Funding Office (Convergence funding).All these projects are governed by strict financial regulations, and in the majority of cases it is a standard requirement to have the finances audited by an independent organisation.Aberystwyth University wishes to formalise this process by awarding a contract to one organisation to perform these specific audits from 1 October 2014 to 30 September 2016. During this period we anticipate no more than 25 audits in total albeit this is merely an estimate. In our experience such audits individually have typically cost no more than £5k per audit excl.
