Descriptions
Met Éireann wishes to purchase an automatic Bioaerosol collection system for real-time measurement of bioaerosol particles, the technical specifications of which are provided in the Appendix A1 “Technical specifications document”. The initial procurement will be for 1 instrument for a trial/Proof of Concept (POC) purposes. If deemed successful, the client proposes to set up a national network of up to 20 monitoring instruments. Some of these instruments may monitor Pollen only, while other may be specified to monitor Bioaerosols and Pollen. The trial instrument will be located in Dublin and it is envisaged that future instruments will be located nationwide at various locations.The system must include for: •Particle identification and measurement,•Software and server tools,•integration of the data into the Met Éireann data network and assimilation into the National Weather Forecast modelling programme, •Installation, training, warranty and maintenance options.
