Proposals are sought for the provision of a catering service at Oriel Môn, Museum and Arts Gallery, Rhosmeirch, Llangefni, LL77 7TQ. The catering service forms an essential part of the visitor experience at Oriel Môn. Oriel Môn is an Accredited Museum and Art Gallery and is managed by Isle of Anglesey County Council. It was established in 1991 to accommodate the Charles Tunnicliffe Collection and had a significant extension in 2008 to create Oriel Kyffin Williams.We are looking for a Caterer to provide a high level of service in a well-established café, with an excellent reputation.The objectives for the contract are:•Provision of a year round service meeting the needs of both local residents and visitors.•Maintenance of excellent standards and a high degree of customer satisfaction.•Provision of quality services at a fair price, ensuring value for money for the customer, a fair profit for the Caterer and a realistic return for the Council for providing the facilities.Oriel Môn is looking for a caterer with appropriate experience and expertise to undertake the operation of the catering contract, providing a high level of service and food. We are looking for a caterer who will provide meals such as hot and cold snacks, light meals, tea and coffee, soft drinks and salads as well as healthy meals for children. Oriel Môn promotes the area's Welsh character and would expect the caterer to use local produce, sustainable food sources and local suppliers wherever possible.It will be expected that the Caterer will be able to operate flexible hours with some evening events expected. The terms of these events will be included in the Contract and Licence document and will be decided upon beforehand. Oriel Môn also operates a function room, catering for these bookings will also be expected as part of the contract.
