This Procurement exercise is in support of the Scottish Government’s Energy Efficient Scotland Programme. The Scottish Government award grant funding to Local Authorities to develop and deliver fuel poverty programmes (mainly solid wall insulation) in areas with high levels of fuel poverty. The area-based schemes are designed and delivered by Local Authorities with the opportunity to work alongside a delivery partner. They target fuel-poor areas to provide energy efficiency measures to a large number of Scottish homes, while delivering emission savings and helping reduce fuel poverty.
