Award of PROVISION OF RESEARCH INTO ‘SELDOM HEARD’ GROUPS WITHIN THE SCOTTISH SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM

Descriptions

A desk-based review around ‘seldom heard’ groups within the Scottish social security system. The purpose of this review will be to provide the Scottish Government with systematic analysis around the groups of people most likely to face significant barriers in accessing social security support they are entitled to. It is expected the review will examine existing evidence to identify specific seldom heard groups and provide detail on key barriers facing take-up of social security. The conclusions from this research will inform work to develop bespoke, person-centred, approaches to ensure these communities are supported to access their social security entitlements.Further information is outlined in the specification. Outputs are required by February 2024.
