Descriptions
GMCA the contracting authority for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) wishes to award a contract to a successful bidder to provide the required service contract for the provision of maintaining, inspecting and testing all fixed installation BA compressors across the GMFRS estate. The service provider will also be responsible for carrying out quarterly Air Quality Tests (AQTs) which are required to ensure we meet our statutory requirement needs. These records need to be recorded and shared with the organisation after the tests are carried out and completed. In addition, the successful bidder will also be required to provide, review and update (where necessary) the associated ‘Written Scheme of Examination’ (WSEs) for each compressor. The service provider will also be required to attend and repair any reported defects that may occur on an adhoc basis, these must be completed within the agreed timescales which will be set out in the T&C’s of the awarded contract.
