Descriptions
Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust (‘the Trust’) intends to establish a framework to provide a range of NHS back office services, including financial, procurement, employment and data warehousing services, to itself and for the benefit of other public bodies. The Trust considers that the proposed Framework Agreement will enable the wider public sector to benefit from a streamlined services delivery approach. The Trust also believes that this proposed Framework Agreement offers a fantastic opportunity to assist those authorities who are under increased pressure to move to greater use of shared and outsourced arrangements as a means to reduce spending.
