During summer 2014 the Welsh Government (WG) announced funding to support the development of Town Centre Partnerships (TCP) in Wales. The purpose of the funding programme is primarily to act as the catalyst for the formation of TCPs and the creation of Town Centre Action Plans for each settlement area. Funding was secured for the development of a Town Centre Partnership in Bangor following the successful proposal developed by Bangor City Council.Bangor City Council seeks to appoint suitably qualified and experienced Consultant or Consultants to undertake the work outlined within this brief, based on the Bangor City Centre Partnership (BCCP) proposal and the Stakeholder Analysis and Brief Development.There will be three interrelated phases for this commission :-Phase 1 - Embed and develop robust management structures for the City Centre Partnership.Phase 2 - An overarching Strategy and Vision for the City Centre; to include:Development and EnvironmentBusiness and EconomyHousing & HealthMarketing and PromotionPhase 3 - Develop and support the implementation of an Action PlanBangor City Council has developed an initial working partnership in the Bangor area.
