Bangor University Desktop X-Ray Diffractometer with heated stage
Descriptions
Bangor University is looking to procure a Desktop X-Ray Diffractometer. X-ray diffraction is an important analysis tool for materials science. Materials created and investigated by the Ser Cymru supported group: Nuclear Materials and Materials in Extreme Environments – part of the Nuclear Futures Institute, shall be tested using X-ray diffraction techniques. The heated stage allows thermal expansion of the analysed materials to be explored – a key property to understand for the safe and efficient operation of materials under extreme environments. This procurement is for a Desktop X-Ray Diffractometer with the option of also procuring a service contract up to 4 years.
