The tender has been divided into 2 Lots.Lot 1 — The Community Ophthalmology service is a community based provision of triage, assessment, treatment and management of ophthalmology conditions.The Ophthalmology services are for service users suffering from a range of minor eye conditions as listed in the specification. The service will be provided from one location within each borough, although patients will be able to access any services location irrespective of their registered GP.Lot 2 — The aim of the Low Vision service is to allow people with sight loss, often elderly patients, disabled and the young to access services easily and nearer to home.Both of the services are for service users registered in the 3 boroughs. The service is to be provided via a hub and spoke model across BHR the 3 CCGs.
