BBVS Extranet (SP21) BBVS require an extranet to be designed, built, hosted and managed by a supplier, to meet the information sharing requirements of the project. Tenderers should submit a PDF proposal - no more than 2000 words, describing how they could facilitate this requirement and suggest any creative solutions they can offer, from the information provided in the scope of works below. Scope of Works : The project Working in partnership an Integrated Project Team (IPT) comprised of employees from HS2, WSP, Network Rail and BBVS (Balfour Beatty, VINCI, SYSTRA) Joint Venture are responsible for the final design, construction and commissioning of the HS2 Old Oak Common station in West London. The station is the London interchange station of the UK's second high-speed railway. It will be located on the site of the existing Old Oak Common Railway Depot, bounded by the future Crossrail Depot to the north, the London Overground West London line to the east, the Intercity Express Programme Depot to the south and Old Oak Common Lane to the west. HS2, Great Western Main Line (GWML), Crossrail and Heathrow Express services will be served by the new Old Oak Common Station. The station will provide six high-speed sub-surface platforms and eight conventional surface platforms with the commencement of services planned for 2026. HS2 Old Oak Common Station will provide a state-of-the-art gateway to London and the wider area, with efficient intermodal interchange with rail, taxi, cycle and pedestrian modes. The station will incorporate passenger and retail facilities, providing a high-class and exemplary customer experience for all visitors to the station. There is a requirement to design, build, host and manage an extranet to meet the information sharing requirements of the project. This extranet must only be accessible to the IPT partners and vetted supply chain partners. The extranet must be fully responsive across mobile, tablet and all modern browsers as well as meeting W3C accessibility standards. An open source CMS with templates that can be used across the site is preferred. The developer must provide testing scripts upon handover of the extranet. Criteria can be discussed in due course. It is preferred for the supplier to host the extranet for the duration of the project, costs for this should be included in response to this brief. There is a requirement to upload new content on the extranet as the project programme develops and new information becomes available.
