Part of The Russell Education Trust Becket Keys School is celebrating being judged outstanding by Ofsted in all four inspection categories. Situated in Sawyers Lane Beckett Keys is Brentwood's newest secondary school, which opened in September 2012, and is already heavily oversubscribed, was visited by Ofsted inspectors on 7-8.5.2014.The school currently has 3 year groups (years 7 to 9) with approximately 450 students, however this will grow year on year to 1 050 students (years 7 to 13).The school models its Christian values to students in the way the school is run by being a responsible employer and consumer as well as being clear about how they support the local and global community. The school is aiming for Gold Standard Eco Schools Award. The school focuses on more than exam results, encouraging self-esteem and respect for other, independence and responsibility, creative thinking and innovation, problem solving and a passionate interest in the world.The school currently operates from 3 blocks with a separate sports hall.
