Descriptions
The Better Organic Business Links (BOBL) project is designed to support the primary organic producer in Wales and grow the market for Welsh organic produce in a sustainable way. The overall aim is to support a thriving Welsh organic sector so that the Welsh Assembly Government’s investment in the Organic Farming Scheme delivers agri-environmental benefits, and by helping implement the Welsh Organic Action Plan, supports rural development and sustainable food production. The project will develop existing, emerging and new markets for organic produce whilst driving innovation at all levels of the supply chain.The principles of organic production need to be communicated more effectively to the public and consumers. The successful bidder will help the BOBL project develop key messages with which to communicate with target audiences within Wales. The successful bidder will also help communicate with consumers of Welsh organic produce in other parts of the UK. Developing and implementing a co-ordinated campaign will include advising BOBL on the best use of expenditure on development of generic marketing materials and on attendance at events throughout Wales
