Biodiesel Pump
Descriptions
The supplier should be able to provide a biodiesel pump and install it at the CHP engine room located in the EBRI Plant. An electrically driven Atex rated self-priming pump is to be installed for un-supervised operation to run a CHP engine. The pump is to fill a 100 litre biodiesel stainless steel day tank, from a plastic IBC tank where the biodiesel is stored. The pump must be controlled by a level sensor in the day tank to avoid overfilling, and a level sensor in the IBC tank to avoid pumping air. The pump and its ancillaries such as sensors, piping and seals must be rated for biodiesel B100 EN14214.
