Walsall Council ('Council') has a requirement for an organisation to undertake refurbishment works for a Council-owned building, Blakenall Community Centre, leased to a community organisation, Bloxwich Community Partnership.
The address is Blakenall Row, Bloxwich, Walsall, WS3 1LW.
The works required comprise of:
Internal building fabric refurbishment to comprise new internal ceiling finishes, decorations, and reconfiguration of WC facilities.
External building fabric improvements to comprise new waterproofing system to the existing pitched roofs, and upgrade of existing high-level timber fascias and soffits.
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing services upgrades to comprise replacement small power distribution, lighting, ventilation, CCTV, access control and communication systems. In addition, modifications to an existing gas fired wet heating system emitters to suit layout amendments.
Below ground drainage modifications to suit revised WC layout.
Removal of the existing storage container situated adjacent to the North-East elevation, and making good of retained ground surfaces.
