The contract caters for a variety of Blood collection products for either an Evacuated system or an Aspiration system. ‘Blood Collection systems’ refer to the components used to obtain a blood specimen from a patient, including all elements of the needle, holder & tube to which the specimen is drawn into.The contract was awarded for an initial period of 2 years and commenced in 2011. It has since been extended for two years on a year by year basis.
