Box of Business Software

Descriptions

The project is inspired by, and a response to, Stafford Beer's book "The Brain of the Firm" (from the 1970s) and the prevalence of different (static) simulations offered commercially. The concept is that "Box of Business" is a dynamic platform and simulation engine that incorporates real-time and live external (business) environment data inputs. The platform would also enable businesses to contribute their own data for analysis and extrapolation by students or researchers in a suitably anonymised manner. As a reciprocation for their contribution the businesses would receive automated feedback reports from the platform whenever their data was successfully used.
