Descriptions
KS4 pupils in Bradford who are not suited to a mainstream school environment and require long term support in an alternative setting receive their education at Bradford District PRU. The District PRU is a virtual school that consists of different providers who offer alternative education for up to 160 young people in small groups. The District PRU is governed by a Management Committee and is run by the Headteacher.The District PRU, in partnership with local schools and Bradford Council, now wishes to further develop this provision to ensure excellent outcomes for some of the most vulnerable young people in the District. The intention is to remodel the current provision and enter into new contracts, which will begin delivery from September 2014.
